Hajjah: The Director of the Hajjah branch of the Geological Survey and Mineral Resources Authority, Mohammed Al-Qadami, along with an engineering team from the Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit, inspected the progress of the Al-Shalfa Road paving and expansion project in Sharis District.
According to Yemen News Agency, the project is being implemented with support from the local authority and the Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit of the Ministry of Local and Rural Development. Contributions are also being made by the local community and the Geological Survey Authority branch. The project involves paving and expanding a four-kilometer stretch of road.
Al-Qadami, accompanied by the unit’s evaluation, supervision, and follow-up officials in the governorate, Engineer Ramah Shamsan, and the studies officer, Engineer Ayman Akkam, reviewed the project’s progress, which has reached 20 percent.
The visitors commended the community’s contribution to the implementation of development and service projects.
