Sana'a: The Deputy Governor of Sana'a Province for Technical Affairs, Engineer Saleh Al-Muntasir, inspected the progress of the asphalt completion works for the 30th Street Ring Road in Shamlan, Hamdan District, as part of the first phase of the project.
According to Yemen News Agency, Engineer Al-Muntasir received a briefing from the Director of Public Works in the province, Engineer Mohammed Ashiyah, on the project's progress. The project is being executed by the Executive Unit with financial backing from the local authority and oversight from the Public Works Office in the province.
Engineer Ashiyah outlined that the work is advancing as per the technical standards, specifications, and the approved timeframe established in the project's tender documents.
Acting Director of the Executive Unit, Engineer Mohammed Makram, noted that the project's completion involves laying an asphalt layer 400 meters long and nine meters wide, covering a total area of 3,200 square meters with 400 tons of asphalt.
Engineer Al-Muntasir emphasized the local authority's dedication to implementing service projects aimed at enhancing the city's appearance. He highlighted the importance of improving the quality of road construction projects to preserve transportation infrastructure and alleviate traffic congestion.
