Sana'a: Member of the Local Council in the Capital Secretariat, Mohsen Haroun, alongside the Secretariat's Undersecretary for Agricultural Affairs, Mohammed Saree, inspected the progress of summer activities and courses in Bani Al-Harith District. Haroun and Saree, accompanied by leaders from various sectors, observed the significant student enrollment in summer courses at several schools and a mosque in the Al-Qabil neighborhood.
According to Yemen News Agency, the officials received briefings from course coordinators on the implementation of programs focusing on scientific, religious, cultural, and skill-based education. These programs, which include Qur'an recitation and memorization, aim to enhance the capabilities of children and youth.
In parallel, Dr. Mutahhar Al-Marouni from the Health and Environment Office, along with Dr. Rashad Al-Jamaei from the Health Office in Bani Al-Harith District, visited the Imam Ahmed bin Al-Qasim Center at the Grand Mosque in Al-Rawdha. They underscored the critical role of summer courses in fostering a generation familiar with Qur'anic culture, emphasizing the need for collaborative efforts to ensure the success of these activities.
The visitors acknowledged the high student turnout and the dedicated work of organizers, highlighting the community and parental involvement in meeting the objectives of the programs. They stressed the significance of these activities in safeguarding youth against the risks associated with soft warfare.
In a related inspection, Ali Shuraim, Undersecretary of the Capital Secretariat, and Mahdi Arhab, Director of Old Sana'a District, along with executive leaders, assessed the summer course activities in Old Sana'a's Central Quarter. They praised the students' participation and the quality of the programs, urging broad support and encouragement for student enrollment to capitalize on the opportunities provided by these courses.
