Inspection of Summer Course Activities in Al Mahwit

Al mahwit: The Secretary-General of the Local Council in Al Mahwit Governorate, Dr. Ali Al-Zikum, along with the Mobilization Official in the governorate, Ismail Sharaf Al-Din, inspected the activities of the summer courses in Al Mahwit City. They were joined by the Director of Security in the governorate, Brigadier Abdullah Al-Tawous, to review the activities occurring in the summer educational centers.

According to Yemen News Agency, the officials received a detailed briefing from the center coordinators regarding student participation levels and the implementation progress of educational and instructional plans. The centers are currently conducting Quranic, cultural, and skill-based activities as part of their curriculum.

Dr. Al-Zikum and Mr. Sharaf Al-Din expressed their appreciation for the preparation and organization of the summer courses. They noted the increasing student turnout and commended the educational staff for their efforts in ensuring the courses' success. The officials highlighted the courses' role in developing students' skills, particularly in Quranic memorization and recitation, as well as in strengthening their cultural and faith-based identity.

The Secretary-General and the Mobilization Official emphasized the importance of these summer activities in shaping a well-educated generation capable of facing future challenges while maintaining their religious and national values. They stressed the necessity of preparing a knowledgeable and well-educated youth to navigate the current stage effectively.

Additionally, they called on parents to motivate their children to participate in the summer centers. The programs offer educational and faith-based opportunities that develop young people's capacities and provide a constructive use of their time. Accompanying them were officials from the Education Sector in the governorate, Ibrahim Al-Zain, and the Education Office in Al Mahwit City, Malik Al-Shahthi.
