Inspection of Summer Course Activities in Ibb Governorate’s As-Saddah and An-Nadirah Districts

Sana'a: The mobilization official in Ibb Governorate, Abdulftah Ghalab, and the educational sector official in the governorate, Mohammed Al-Ghazali, inspected the progress of summer course activities in several centers in As-Saddah District.

According to Yemen News Agency, Ghalab and Al-Ghazali, accompanied by the Director of the Grievances Committee in the governorate, Yahya Al-Qasimi, the district director Mohammed Al-Durwani, and the CEO of the Yemeni-Omani Telecommunications Company 'YOU,' Ibrahim Al-Shami, reviewed the implementation level of educational programs and awareness activities in the centers of 'Al-Imam Al-Hadi,' 'Zain Al-Abidin,' and 'Anas bin Malik.' They listened to explanations from those in charge of the courses about the content of the approved educational programs, which combine Quran memorization, basic sciences, and the development of cultural and sports skills.

Ghalab praised the level of turnout for the courses and the activities provided to students, stressing the importance of summer courses in consolidating cultural identity and building a generation armed with knowledge and learning. He considered the summer courses an opportunity to protect young people from misleading cultures and soft warfare, and to provide them with useful knowledge while strengthening their faith-based identity.

The governorate's educational sector official affirmed that summer courses represent a key pillar in building youth awareness and developing their academic and behavioral capabilities, contributing to preparing a generation capable of facing challenges with confidence and responsibility. He pointed out the keenness of the educational sector leadership to follow up on the progress of programs in the summer centers in As-Saddah, and to work on improving their quality and providing their needs, ensuring the achievement of the desired educational and pedagogical objectives.

Ghalab and Al-Ghazali were accompanied by the local council secretary in the district, Abdul Salam Al-Aghbari; the district mobilization official, Adel Al-Bahm; the district security director, Colonel Muammar Rubai; and the district education sector official, Fawaz Ghalees. Meanwhile, the mobilization official, together with the governorate's educational sector official, inspected the activities of the summer courses in An-Nadirah District.

They, along with the district mobilization official Abdullah Al-Sabari, reviewed the level of performance and turnout at 'Sumoud and Challenge' School in the district center and 'Al-Hasan bin Ali' School in the village of Ashmah. They also listened to explanations from those in charge about the level of commitment, discipline, and the implementation of the summer curriculum and accompanying programs. Ghalab and Al-Ghazali affirmed that summer courses are an important opportunity that should be invested in building the future generation and enhancing awareness to face challenges, noting that the leadership's attention to these courses reflects their importance in protecting youth and building society on solid faith-based and cultural foundations.
