Sana'a: The mobilization official in Ibb Governorate, Abdulftah Ghalab, inspected on Thursday the progress of summer course activities in a number of summer schools in Sabrah District.
According to Yemen News Agency, during his visit, accompanied by the district education official Abdulrahman Al-Matarki, Ghalab listened at the 'Gaza,' 'Martyrs,' 'Al-Rasool Al-Azam,' and 'Al-Sibtain' centers to explanations from supervisors regarding the implemented programs and activities. These activities include Qur'an memorization, as well as skills, sports, health, and agricultural activities.
Ghalab praised the level of organization and engagement witnessed in the summer schools, and the efforts exerted by educational staff to ensure the success of their programs and achieve their educational and training objectives. He emphasized the importance of summer courses in building a conscious generation equipped with knowledge and strengthened by faith-based and national values.
He described the summer courses as an educational space that contributes to developing students' awareness, strengthening a sense of responsibility and national belonging, and building a balanced personality capable of positively contributing to society.
In a related context, the deputy education sector official in the governorate, Mohammed Al-Mutawakkil, inspected the progress of summer course activities at the 'Al-Karrar' summer center in Al-Dhahar District. He praised the efforts made by the center's organizers to ensure the success of the summer programs and achieve the intended benefit for students.
Summer centers across various districts of the governorate are currently witnessing preparations for a student march scheduled for next week, with wide participation from summer school students.
