Bajil: The Deputy Governor of Al Ho for Services Affairs, Mohammed Halisi, and the Deputy Governor for Eastern Districts Affairs, Amer Muthanna, inspected today the progress of summer activities and courses in several summer centers in Bajil District.
According to Yemen News Agency, Halisi and Muthanna, along with members of the committee assigned from directors of executive offices in the province, reviewed the level of student turnout and educational and pedagogical programs at Al-Shahid Al-Sammad Model Center, Al-Karrar Center, the Scouting Center in Azzan, as well as Al-Siraj Al-Munir Center.
The visitors listened to a briefing from those in charge of the centers about the nature of cultural, sports, and scientific activities, and the extent of students' benefit from programs of Quran memorization and beneficial sciences that contribute to immunizing youth and developing their skills.
During the visits, Deputy Governor Halisi affirmed the importance of summer courses in building a generation armed with Quranic culture and faith identity, praising the level of discipline and community engagement with these centers.
Deputy Governor Muthanna considered summer activities and courses as an essential pillar for protecting youth from destructive ideas and utilizing free time in ways that benefit them.
In the same context, an expanded meeting of the subcommittee for summer activities and courses in the Eastern Quadrant was held, chaired by Deputy Governor Mohammed Halisi, attended by the Deputy for Eastern Districts Amer Muthanna, and committee members from directors of executive offices in the province.
The meeting discussed the plan and mechanisms for field visits to summer centers, ways to enhance the success of summer courses, improve the level of activities and programs, and overcome difficulties that may hinder the workflow in the centers, ensuring the achievement of desired goals.
The meeting reviewed performance reports of summer centers, the level of commitment to implementing approved summer programs and activities, in addition to discussing the role of relevant authorities in supporting activities and providing necessary requirements.
The attendees affirmed the necessity of continuing follow-up and evaluation of centers to ensure improving performance levels, guaranteeing the success of summer activities, and achieving their goals of immunizing youth and developing their skills in various districts of the Eastern Quadrant in the province.
