Sana'a: Over the years, June 27 has been marked by significant aggression from US-Saudi-Emirati forces and their mercenaries, resulting in numerous casualties and extensive damage across various governorates in Yemen. This date has consistently seen airstrikes and shelling, leaving a trail of destruction and loss in its wake. According to Yemen News Agency, on June 27, 2015, airstrikes during Friday prayers in Hajjah Governorate resulted in the martyrdom of four civilians and injuries to twenty others at Al-Jard Mosque in Al-Mahabsha city. The attack also led to the destruction of the historic Hisn Al-Sharaf, along with the mosque and other facilities. Further strikes in Al-Hodeida Governorate claimed three more civilian lives, targeting key locations including a hospital and a scientific institute. Throughout subsequent years, similar patterns of aggression persisted. In 2016, airstrikes in Saada and Marib Governorates caused extensive damage to governmental and civilian properties. The aggression continue d into 2017, with airstrikes in Taiz and Saada leading to more civilian casualties and significant property destruction. The year 2018 saw airstrikes in Al-Hodeida and Taiz Governorates, resulting in the deaths of seven civilians in Al-Rabsah area. The aggressors also launched numerous airstrikes on various districts in Hajjah and Saada Governorates, causing widespread damage. In 2019, mercenaries' gunfire injured a boy in Al-Hodeida Governorate, while airstrikes in Amran Governorate further exacerbated the devastation. The following year, in 2020, saw increased aggression with multiple airstrikes in Hajjah, Saada, and Marib Governorates, targeting farms and properties. On June 27, 2021, the aggression resulted in the martyrdom of a civilian in Saada Governorate due to Saudi shelling. Airstrikes in Marib Governorate caused significant damage, and mercenaries continued their attacks in Al-Hodeida Governorate with artillery shelling. June 27, 2022, witnessed continued aggression with reconnaissance aircraft dropping bombs in Taiz and Al-Dhalea Governorates. Mercenaries established combat fortifications and shelled various areas across multiple governorates, causing further destruction. Most recently, on June 27, 2023, mercenaries fortified positions in Al-Jabaliyah and Hays Districts in Al-Hodeida Governorate, continuing their shelling activities. The ongoing aggression has left a lasting impact on Yemen, with countless lives lost and communities devastated.
