Inspection of Work Discipline in Al-Mahwit Government Offices After Eid al-Adha Holiday

Al-mahwit: The Secretary-General of the Local Council in Al-Mahwit Governorate, Dr. Ali Al-Zaykum, accompanied by the governorate's deputies Ahmed Al-Qutma, Humoud Shamlan, Abdulssalam Al-Dhamari, and Issam Al-Nazili, conducted inspections on Saturday to assess job discipline across several executive offices in the governorate. These inspections took place on the first day of official working hours following the Eid al-Adha holiday.

According to Yemen News Agency, the inspection visits included the Governorate Office and the offices of Health, Finance, Education, Technical Education, Taxation, Agriculture, Industry, Information, Civil Service, Antiquities, the Legal Office, Cleaning Fund, the Republican Hospital, and the Health and Vocational Institute. During these visits, Al-Zaykum and his team were briefed by Abdulkarim Al-Wadhan, the Director of the Civil Service Office in the governorate, on the level of discipline, which reached 97 percent. They were also informed about the measures being implemented to enhance administrative and institutional performance.

The Secretary-General and the governorate deputies took the opportunity to review the progress of administrative and service performance within these offices and facilities. They engaged with administrative leaders to understand the level of service delivery to citizens on the first working day after the holiday. Al-Zaykum commended the commitment and discipline exhibited by the leaders and employees of the executive offices, emphasizing that their dedication reflects a strong sense of responsibility and commitment to serving the citizens.

He further highlighted the importance of intensifying efforts to elevate performance levels and improve service quality for citizens. Al-Zaykum noted that job discipline is a crucial pillar for the success of administrative and executive functions and is instrumental in achieving developmental and service objectives within the governorate.
