Inspection of Work Discipline in Public Service Units in Dhamar

Dhamar: The two deputies of Dhamar Governorate, Mahmoud Al-Jubein and Mohammed Abdulrazaq, inspected on Saturday the level of work discipline in a number of public service units on the first official working day following the Eid al-Adha holiday.

According to Yemen News Agency, during their visit, they reviewed the level of work discipline at branches of the General Postal and Postal Savings Authority, the General Authority for Lands, the Public Telecommunications Corporation, the Tax Authority, customs offices, the oversight bureau, the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Investment, the Fisheries Authority, the Public Works Office, and the Local Water and Sanitation Corporation.

During the visits, the two deputies, Al-Jubein and Abdulrazaq, emphasized the importance of adherence to official working hours, dedication to serving the community, and facilitating procedures to reduce administrative bureaucracy. They also focused on intensifying efforts to enhance the delivery of public services.

They further acknowledged the efforts of the entities that continued to perform their duties during the Eid al-Adha holiday, recognizing the level of discipline in public service units across the governorate.

For his part, the Director of the Civil Service Office in the governorate, Essam Al-Omisi, reported that the rate of work discipline on the first official working day after the Eid holiday reached 98 percent. He mentioned that the office had assigned field committees at the governorate center and district levels to assess work discipline across various public service units.
