Maqbanah: Dr. Mohammed Al-Azzi, Director of the Health Office in Taiz Governorate, officially inaugurated the new intensive care and infant incubator units at Al-Barh Rural Hospital in Maqbanah District today. This development marks a significant step towards enhancing medical services for the local community.
According to Yemen News Agency, Dr. Al-Azzi was briefed by the hospital director, Jamal Al-Khalidi, on the significance of these new units in expanding healthcare offerings for citizens in the district. The Director of the Health Office commended the leadership and the medical, nursing, technical, and administrative staff at Al-Barh Hospital for their persistent efforts to improve services amid challenging conditions.
Furthermore, Dr. Al-Azzi, accompanied by the Director of Maqbanah District, Abdulrahman Ibrahim, conducted inspections at the Mohammed Hael Health Center and Abu Mazen Al-Ashmaly Center in the Al-Wareef and Al-Ashmalah areas. They received updates from the directors of these health centers on the current services and the key challenges being faced.
Dr. Al-Azzi highlighted the necessity of collaborative efforts between the Health Office and the local council to uplift the health infrastructure in the district. He lauded the dedication of health personnel at both centers, noting that this visit is part of a broader initiative to evaluate the requirements of health facilities and improve healthcare services in rural regions.
