Sanaa: The Ministries of Interior and Education and Scientific Research have initiated security awareness activities aimed at summer school students in the Capital Secretariat. These activities have been meticulously prepared and are being supervised by the Ministry of Interior.
According to Yemen News Agency, the launch event took place at the Martyrs of the Ministry of Interior Summer Center in the Bani Al Harith district, with participation from security and educational leaders. Deputy Minister of Education, Hadi Ammar, commended the Ministry of Interior for its support of summer schools, emphasizing the crucial role of the awareness program in promoting security and stability. He noted that the Ministry's efforts extend beyond crime control, incorporating educational initiatives through the distribution of specialized booklets and guides for students.
Brigadier General Hassan Al Hadi, Director of Moral Guidance and Public Relations at the Ministry of Interior, highlighted the ministry's dedication to integrating security awareness into summer courses. A comprehensive awareness booklet has been crafted to strengthen the security consciousness of the young generation. These awareness activities cover the responsibilities of security units and provide guidelines on public safety and the prevention of traffic and domestic hazards.
Brigadier General Al Hadi stressed that the security awareness booklet is a vital tool for fostering direct communication between the security institution and the youth, with the goal of building trust and reinforcing the principle of "police in service of the people." The initiative aims to instill national loyalty and emphasize that "security is everyone's responsibility," equipping students with skills to manage rumors and counteract media disinformation.
Abdul Salam Al Ghouli, Director of the Educational Area in the Bani Al Harith district, noted that the Ministry of Interior's security awareness activities serve as a preventive measure by educating students about methods of soft war and media disinformation that threaten to destabilize communities. He highlighted the significance of summer activities in fortifying youth and students across scientific, cultural, religious, and security dimensions, particularly in light of external threats targeting younger generations.
