Implementation of Asphalt Layer for Damt City Streets

Damt: The executive unit for road construction, maintenance, and development in Al Dhale governorate has successfully commenced the application of an asphalt layer on the internal streets of Damt city. This initiative aims to enhance the city's infrastructure and improve road conditions for its residents.

According to Yemen News Agency, the Deputy Governor of Al Dhale for Financial and Administrative Affairs, Sadiq Al Idrisi, together with the head of the works sector in the governorate, Hamdi Al Hadi, inspected the progress of the street maintenance work. During their visit, they observed the asphalt spraying process and evaluated the quality of the ongoing work.

Ziyad Haidara, the director of the executive unit, alongside Mohammed Al Amad, the supervisor of the Road Maintenance Fund, provided insights into the project's scope. They highlighted the work conducted on the deteriorated sections at the street entrances, which span 200 meters in length. The project, with a budget of 50 million Yemeni riyals, is financed by the Road Maintenance Fund.

The Deputy Governor emphasized the critical role of maintaining and restoring internal streets to ensure the longevity of the asphalt layer and to ease traffic flow. This effort is part of the broader agenda to enhance Damt city's infrastructure and living standards.
