Sana'a: The competitions of the second group in the government ministries, institutions, and bodies volleyball championship opened today. The championship is organized by the interim committee of the sport's federation for the Martyrs of the Change and Building Government Cup, with support from the Ministry of Finance. The teams from the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Civil Service and Administrative Development, and the Tax and Customs Authority secured their first wins in the championship. The Ministry of Interior team defeated the Ministry of Electricity, Energy, and Water in two straight sets, and with the same result, the Tax and Customs Authority team beat the Ministry of Economy, Industry, and Investment team. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Information team lost to the Ministry of Civil Service and Administrative Development team in two straight sets.
According to Yemen News Agency, the championship competitions continue tomorrow afternoon, Monday, with the second round of matches for the first group. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates team will meet the Ministry of Finance team, the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Water Resources team will face the Ministry of Youth and Sports team, and the third match will bring together the Presidency of the Republic team and the Presidency of the Council of Ministers team.
