Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) 30 Index closed today at 5598.45 points, marking a decline of 48.7 points, or 0.86 percent, from the previous trading session's close of 5647.10 points. According to Yemen News Agency, the trading value on the Muscat Stock Exchange reached 31,598,239 Omani rials, showing an increase of 7.7 percent compared to the last session's trading value of 29,344,352 Omani rials. The report from the Muscat Stock Exchange highlighted a decrease in market capitalization by 0.229 percent compared to the previous trading day, with the figure settling at approximately 31.31 billion Omani rials. Non-Omani purchases on the stock exchange were recorded at 2.452 million Omani riyals, accounting for 7.76 percent, while non-Omani sales amounted to 1.986 million Omani riyals, representing 6.28 percent. This resulted in a net increase in non-Omani investment by 466,000 Omani riyals, or 1.48 percent.
