Sanaa: A meeting held in Sanaa on Wednesday, chaired by Deputy Interior Minister Maj. Gen. Abdulmajid Al-Murtada, discussed security arrangements in the liberated areas along the western coast, as well as security and service needs to strengthen stability and protect citizens' property.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting was attended by the ministry's Inspector General Maj. Gen. Abdullah Al-Hadi and ministry undersecretaries for Security and Police Intelligence Maj. Gen. Ali Hussein Al-Houthi, Human Resources and Finance Maj. Gen. Ali Al-Saifi, and Civil Services Maj. Gen. Mohammed Al-Hakim. The discussions focused on reviewing the level of security arrangements in these areas and identifying requirements for the next phase. Key priorities include strengthening security deployment, maintaining stability, protecting citizens and their property, and providing essential security services.
During the meeting, Deputy Interior Minister Al-Murtada acknowledged the achievements of the armed forces, attributing their success to divine support and the backing of the Yemeni people. He highlighted the need for continued security efforts to consolidate public order in the liberated areas and emphasized the importance of treating citizens with kindness and respect in accordance with Islamic values. This approach, he noted, would help reinforce trust and stability in the region.
Participants expressed appreciation for the prompt and effective initiatives of security personnel in securing the liberated areas. They highlighted the importance of ongoing security operations to meet the current phase's requirements, ensuring the protection of lives and private property.
