International Conference Held in Sana’a on Confronting US-Zionist Arrogance and Plundering of Peoples’ Wealth

Sana'a: An international conference titled "Confronting US-Zionist Arrogance and the Plundering of Peoples' Wealth... Latin America and the Republic of Yemen as a Model" was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates in the capital, Sana'a. Participating in the conference via video conferencing were key figures such as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Abdulwahid Abu Ras, along with representatives from Yemen and forty political, human rights, and academic figures from Latin American countries.

According to Yemen News Agency, the conference was marked by opening remarks from Deputy Minister Abu Ras, who welcomed participants and highlighted the historical challenges faced by Latin America due to American policies. He emphasized the shared struggle of Latin America and Yemen against external influence and the continued fight for sovereignty and resources. Abu Ras also reiterated Yemen's solidarity with Venezuela amidst international tensions.

Nasr al-Din Amer, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Yemeni News Agency Saba, underscored the significance of the conference and the shared values between Yemen and Latin American countries. He criticized recent statements by former US President Trump regarding international law, reflecting on Yemen's active resistance against perceived American overreach.

The conference featured speeches and discussions addressing American actions in Latin America, including recent events involving the Venezuelan president. Participants praised Latin American opposition to Zionist actions in Gaza and commended Yemen's steadfast support for Palestine amid ongoing regional challenges.

Interventions during the conference highlighted the solidarity between Yemen and Latin American nations in opposing imperialist policies. The participants reiterated their unwavering support for the Palestinian cause and expressed appreciation for Yemen's commitment despite enduring significant adversity. They also supported Yemen's recent measures in the Red Sea, affirming these actions are not a threat to international navigation.

The conference concluded with calls for enhanced cooperation in various fields, aiming to build resilience against external control over national resources and capabilities.
