Sanaa: Intisaf Organization for Women and Children’s Rights convened a discussion panel today focusing on American criminality on the international stage, specifically citing Yemen and South America as case studies.
According to Yemen News Agency, the panel was timed to coincide with a visit from Chilean human rights activists Dr. Pablo Salvador Allende and Dr. Roberto Bermudez. The event centered on their experiences confronting American hegemony and examining the United States’ role in exacerbating conflicts in South American countries. The discussion highlighted concerns about America’s strategic efforts to destabilize these nations to exploit their resources.
The panel featured participation from numerous civil society organizations and relevant stakeholders. Deputy Minister of Justice and Human Rights, Judge Ibrahim Al-Shami, emphasized the prolonged Saudi-Emirati-American-British aggression on Yemen, which has persisted for over a decade. He described the catastrophic humanitarian crisis, noting that the situation in Yemen has deteriorated to an unprecedented global level.
Judge Al-Shami also addressed the extensive targeting and destruction Yemen has faced from aggressor countries, detailing the use of various prohibited weapons and the implementation of a comprehensive blockade as tactics of war.
