Iraq: Oil loading operations from the southern ports are continuing with no suspension, according to the Iraqi Ministry of Oil.
According to Yemen News Agency, the official Iraqi News Agency quoted the Ministry of Oil spokesperson, Salim Al-Rikabi, stating that reports circulated by some social media pages and television channels about the suspension of Iraqi oil loading operations due to a drone strike on one of the oil tankers are incorrect.
Al-Rikabi confirmed that oil loading operations from the southern ports are ongoing without any interruption. He further noted that the Oil Marketing Company (SOMO) is investigating an incident involving the falling of a foreign object on one of the tankers. The results of this investigation will be announced once it is complete.
