Jenin: The Israeli occupation army admitted that one of its soldiers and four settlers were wounded Wednesday afternoon in two separate shooting and ramming attacks in Jenin and Hebron in the West Bank. An Israeli army spokesperson reported that four settlers were injured after their vehicle was shot near the Barta'a checkpoint, west of Jenin, and the perpetrator subsequently withdrew from the scene.
According to Yemen News Agency, a report was received of a shooting attack in the area of the Rayhan crossing near Jenin. The Israeli ambulance service confirmed that it had treated four settler casualties following the shooting attack.
In another incident in Hebron, a soldier was wounded in a ramming attack at the "Sadat al-Fahs" checkpoint near Hebron. Israeli forces responded by opening fire on the perpetrator.
