Sana’a: The local authority and general mobilization in the district of Jahana in Sana’a Governorate organized a central festival on Friday to mark the anniversary of the Martyr Leader Sayyed Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi. The event highlighted his influence and legacy in the region.
According to Yemen News Agency, the director of the district, Saleh Muidh, addressed the attendees, emphasizing the significance of the Martyr Leader’s contributions. Muidh described him as a unique personality who provided guidance to a nation grappling with the challenges posed by religious movements orchestrated by external forces aiming to destabilize the Islamic community.
Muidh further explained that the Martyr Leader’s initiatives were driven by a desire to rescue the nation through the Quranic project, which he viewed as an extension of the Muhammadan call. This initiative aimed to confront global tyranny and support those who were oppressed.
The festival was attended by officials in the governorate, including Aziz Al-Rijali, a representative of technical education and vocational training, and Saleh Al-Hasani from the mobilization sector. Cultural activist Ibrahim Hamid Al-Din spoke about the importance of learning from the life of the Martyr Leader and continuing the practical Quranic movement that he championed.
Al-Din emphasized that the Martyr Leader’s movement was an awareness-raising effort that charted a path for the nation. He noted that this movement produced influential figures and advancements that challenged adversaries, attributing these successes to faith and adherence to the Quranic project.
The festival featured expressive poems that added to the commemoration of the Martyr Leader’s legacy.
