Al-mahweet: The Judicial Authority in Al-Mahweet Governorate organized an event to commemorate the birthday of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family). The event took place on Sunday and drew a diverse group of attendees, including Member of Parliament Ammar Khamis, Political Bureau member of Ansar Allah Hizam Al-Asad, and Mansour Al-Lakoumi, a member of the Presidential Mobilization Committee and the Shura Council.
According to Yemen News Agency, the gathering was also attended by the governorate's General Mobilization Officer Ismail Sharaf Al-Din, Deputy Governors Abdul Salam Al-Dhamari, Ahmed Al-Qatma, Mohammed Al-Basl, Hamoud Shamlani, and the Director of Security and Intelligence, Brigadier General Mohammed Al-Wajih. Dr. Abdul Aziz Al-Houri, head of the Presidential Committee, spoke at the event, emphasizing the significance of the Prophet's birthday as a celebration of values such as justice and equality. He highlighted the importance of Jihad as a means to confront external forces deemed oppressive.
Dr. Al-Houri also reiterated Yemen's support for the Palestinian cause, indicating alignment with the Quranic and Jihadi approach in following the teachings of the Prophet. Judge Akram Al-Alfi, President of the Al-Mahweet Court of Appeal, echoed these sentiments, urging attendees to follow the Prophet's example against perceived external threats. He emphasized that the Prophet's teachings offer a comprehensive guide for societal organization.
Judge Fadl Al-Mata'a, President of the Governorate Public Prosecution, further elaborated on the significance of the event, describing it as an expression of love and loyalty to the Prophet's path. He referred to the Prophet as the 'gifted mercy' and noted that the celebration is a way to express gratitude for divine guidance.
The event featured poetry recitals and anthems and was attended by members of the appellate court, judges, primary court presidents, prosecutors, and the deputy security chief of the governorate, Brigadier General Khalid Al-Shammam.
