Sanaa: The judiciary held a rally today under the slogan "Readiness and Mobilization... to End the Aggression and Blockade," in response to the directives of the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi.
According to Yemen News Agency, the rally was attended by prominent figures including the Head of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Dr. Abdul-Mu'min Shuja' al-Din, the Secretary-General of the Council, Judge Hisham Aqabat, and the Head of the Judicial Inspection Authority, Judge Dr. Marwan al-Muhaqari. A statement read by the Deputy Minister of Justice and Human Rights, Judge Ibrahim al-Shami, emphasized the judiciary's readiness and commitment to the directives aimed at ending the aggression and blockade.
The statement highlighted the Yemeni people's resolve to champion the cause of Islam and resist what it termed as the "dark, barbaric ignorance" led by "America and Israel." It also condemned the actions of global Zionism against the Palestinian people and the Muslim communities in Lebanon, Iran, and Yemen, as well as the repeated disrespect towards Islamic holy symbols and figures.
Further, the statement outlined the myriad challenges faced by Yemen, including territorial occupation, control over national resources, violation of sovereignty, economic blockade, and the recruitment of mercenaries. The statement attributed these challenges to conspiracies orchestrated by the Saudi-led coalition under American oversight.
The judiciary expressed its full support for the Leader of the Revolution's statement on the anniversary of the Prophet's migration, reaffirming its commitment to resisting the adversaries of Islam and promoting unity among different fronts. The statement also extended congratulations to the leadership and people of the Islamic Republic of Iran for their triumphs against America and Israel, emphasizing continued vigilance for any regional developments.
Moreover, the statement called for a broad-based mobilization, the establishment of military training centers, and affirmed the judiciary's allegiance to the leader, Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi. It urged the people of Yemen to unite in their efforts to reclaim national sovereignty and independence.
The rally saw participation from various leaders, judges, and employees of the Supreme Judicial Council, the Supreme Court, the Judicial Inspection Authority, and the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights.
