Sana'a: The Social Welfare Division in Ibb and Al-Dhale' governorates has initiated the distribution of integrated school bags for the children of wounded, captured, and mentally ill members of the armed forces for the 2026-2027 academic year. The effort aims to support educational stability and alleviate the financial burden on the families of these personnel.
According to Yemen News Agency, the project targets 370 male and female students as part of broader social welfare programs. Abdulghani Al-Dahmas, who heads the Social Welfare Division in Ibb and Al-Dhale', stated that the distribution process is designed to ensure that school bags are delivered smoothly to beneficiaries across all districts. The bags include all necessary school supplies tailored to the educational levels and age groups of the students.
Al-Dahmas reiterated the division's commitment to ongoing support and welfare initiatives for these children, emphasizing the importance of coordinated efforts between official and community entities to care for these families and honor the sacrifices made by their loved ones.
