Sanaa: The General Assembly of the Judicial Inspection Authority convened today under the leadership of Judge Dr. Marwan Al-Mahaqri, Head of the Authority. The meeting focused on deliberations concerning violations linked to several judges.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Investigation and Disciplinary Cases Department raised issues that led to the approval of disciplinary actions against three judges, setting the stage for their referral to the Accountability Council. Additionally, two judges received written warnings as part of the proceedings.
The assembly also addressed the on-call mechanism for primary and appellate courts during Ramadan. It decided to task the Authority's Judges Affairs Department with monitoring the discipline of judges assigned to on-call duties and submitting a report on their conduct. The meeting underscored the importance of maintaining regular working hours and ensuring the smooth operation of judicial activities during the on-call period.
