Al bayda: The judiciary in Al Bayda Governorate held a cultural and speech evening marking the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad's birth. Al Bayda Governor Abdullah Idris underscored the importance of commemorating the birth of the Prophet Muhammad, describing it as a significant occasion for the Yemeni people.
According to Yemen News Agency, Idris emphasized that the religious occasion reflects the deep love and attachment to the Prophet, whose birth changed the course of history and brought humanity from darkness into light. He called for drawing lessons from the Prophet's life, embodying his values, ethics, justice, and courage. Idris also addressed what he described as hostile conspiracies against the Muslim nation and its holy sites, as well as the continued massacres in Gaza and attempts to eliminate the Palestinian cause.
For his part, Dr. Qassem Al-Hamran, a member of the Presidential Mobilization Committee, said commemorating the occasion represents an opportunity to strengthen faith and draw on the Prophet's values, ethics, and principles. He stressed that the Prophet guided the nation toward the right path and rejected submission to anyone other than Allah. Al-Hamran added that commemorating the Prophet's birth, especially amid the challenges facing the Muslim nation and repeated attacks on its symbols and holy sites, represents a practical response highlighting the status of the Quran and the greatness of the Prophet in the hearts of Muslims. He also emphasized the importance of broad participation in the central events scheduled for the 12th of Rabi' al-Awwal.
Speaking at the event, attended by Deputy Governor Mohammed Al-Humaikani, judges, prosecutors, judicial, local, and executive officials, President of the Court of Appeal Judge Amin Zubarah said commemorating the Prophet's birth strengthens the bond with the Prophet and adherence to his path. He stressed the need to follow the Prophet's example to strengthen resilience and steadfastness in confronting challenges, calling for greater awareness and protection of society from intellectual and cultural influences aimed at distancing younger generations from their religion and Islamic identity.
Meanwhile, Chief Prosecutor of the Governorate's Court of Appeal Judge Abdulazim Al-Radmi emphasized the importance of sincerely returning to the Quran and adhering to it and the Prophet's example. He said that following the Prophet and translating love for him into action is reflected in the achievements made against the enemy despite the disparity in capabilities. Al-Radmi noted the Yemeni people's distinctive stance in supporting Gaza had restored Yemen to a leading position in the Muslim nation, stressing the need to encourage jihad and expose the negative role of what he described as 'subservient regimes.'
