Sana'a: The Ministry of Justice and Human Rights concluded on Monday a two-day training workshop focused on the Code of Conduct and Work Ethics. Organized by the General Administration of Training and Qualification in collaboration with the ministry's Code of Conduct team, the event trained 40 employees from the ministry's headquarters and affiliated bodies.
According to Yemen News Agency, the workshop concentrated on imparting practical knowledge and skills related to the Code of Conduct, public service responsibilities, and institutional compliance. Participants engaged in sessions designed to instill the values of integrity, discipline, and professional responsibility among public servants.
During the closing session, Deputy Minister of Justice and Human Rights, Judge Ibrahim Al-Shami, emphasized that the workshop was a crucial component of the ministry's annual plan and its comprehensive approach to training and qualification across its sectors and institutions. He highlighted the necessity for the principles and values outlined in the Code of Conduct to be reflected in practical workplace behavior, beyond theoretical understanding.
Al-Shami stressed the importance of fostering an administrative environment built on integrity, transparency, and compliance with laws and regulations. This approach aims to uphold justice, protect rights, and serve citizens in a professional manner. He also pointed out the significance of linking ongoing training and awareness programs with employee performance assessments to cultivate a culture of commitment and discipline.
The workshop covered various topics such as work ethics, public employees' rights and duties, legal and professional responsibilities, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Additionally, it addressed behavioral and workplace violations and explored strategies to prevent and address them.
The event concluded with a ceremony attended by Human Resources Director and head of the ministry's Code of Conduct team, Abdulraouf Al-Ghashm, and Training and Qualification Director, Mohammed Al-Shammari. Deputy Minister Al-Shami honored the trainers and presented certificates to the participants, marking the successful completion of the workshop.
