Sa'ada: The Kafl Development Foundation, in partnership with the Al-Tawfiq Charitable Development Association, launched its fifth Ramadan project for the year 1447 AH by distributing food baskets in the Haydan district of Sa'ada Governorate. The distribution, overseen by the Social Affairs and Labor Office in the Juma'a Bin Fadil area, targets 2,622 of the poorest families as part of social solidarity initiatives during the holy month.
According to Yemen News Agency, at the launch, Ali Mohammed Baydan, head of the Kafl Development Foundation, emphasized the importance of the Ramadan food basket project in alleviating the suffering of the most needy and impoverished families and promoting the values of solidarity and benevolence embodied by the blessed month of Ramadan.
He commended the humanitarian and charitable initiatives undertaken by philanthropists in the community, stressing the importance of expanding charitable and developmental work to strengthen the values of compassion and solidarity among members of society, especially given the humanitarian crisis the country is experiencing due to the ongoing aggression and blockade. Baydan called on businessmen, philanthropists, and other benefactors to support humanitarian and social initiatives that promote social solidarity and expand the circle of charitable giving during the holy month.
