Sana'a: The Prophet's Birth Football Tournament for the year 1447 AH has begun in Al-Manar District, Dhamar Governorate. The tournament is organized by the district branch of the Youth and Sports Office, in cooperation with the Education Sector, under the sponsorship of the Youth Welfare Fund and the supervision of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and its office in the governorate. Six school teams are competing in the championship.
According to Yemen News Agency, in the opening match, the 'Messenger Al-Azam' team from Saif bin Dhi Yazan School Complex in Al-Yatra defeated the 'Jerusalem' team from Al-Tadamun School Complex in Al-Jabjab with a score of 2-0. The second match of the day ended in a 2-2 draw between the Al-Wahda team from Al-Masna'a and the Al-Majan Educational Complex team.
