Hajjah: The Martyrs on the Road to Al-Quds Ramadan Championship for football, encompassing both senior and youth categories, along with volleyball, was inaugurated on Sunday in Hajjah Governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, the senior football tournament is organized by Al-Nasr Sports and Cultural Club under the supervision of the Governorate's Youth and Sports Office. It features 10 teams that are divided into three groups. The opening match of Group One concluded in a goalless draw between the teams of the late Mohammed Salbah and Shabab Tihama. The event was graced by several dignitaries, including Member of Parliament Dr. Ahmed Nassar, Mobilization Official Hamoud Al-Maghrabi, Director of the Youth and Sports Office in the governorate Murad Shuli, Head of the Red Crescent Society branch Dr. Ahmed Abdulkarim, as well as various local, executive, and mobilization figures.
Tomorrow, the competition continues with the team of Martyr Abu Abdel facing off against Al-Tahadi team in Group Two.
