Sanaa: The Land, Survey, and Urban Planning Authority commemorated the 1447 AH Martyr’s Anniversary today with a speech ceremony and by honoring the families of martyrs from among its staff.
According to Yemen News Agency, the event featured a speech by the Mufti of Yemen, Allamah Shamsuddin Sharafuddin, who emphasized the significance of observing the Martyr’s Anniversary. He highlighted the greatness of martyrdom and the esteemed status of martyrs in the eyes of God Almighty, describing them as exemplars of faith, certainty in God and the Hereafter, patience, courage, generosity, and dignity.
In addition, the President of the Authority, Judge Ibrahim Al-Mansour, along with the Vice President, Dr. Daji Mohammed, and several employees, paid their respects by visiting the tombs of the martyred President Saleh Al-Sammad, the martyred Prime Minister Ahmed Al-Rahwi, their companion martyred ministers, and the senior jihadist leader, Major General Mohammed Abdulkarim Al-Ghamari. The visitors laid wreaths and recited Al-Fatiha at their graves, honoring the sacrifices of all martyrs who defended Yemen, its security, and stability.
