Sana’a: The Cultural Women’s Authority in Sana’a Governorate organized a cultural and rhetorical event in Al-Haymah Al-Kharijiyyah District to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sayyidah Fatimah Al-Zahra, marking the International Day of the Muslim Woman.
According to Yemen News Agency, speeches delivered during the event expressed pride in Sayyidah Fatimah Al-Zahra, portraying her as a role model for Muslim women throughout history. The speakers emphasized the importance of her birth anniversary as a moment to draw lessons from her life to enhance one’s spiritual and moral character.
The discussions also underscored the challenges posed by the ‘soft war’ led by Western powers, which aims to undermine Muslim women’s connection to their culture, values, and principles rooted in faith. The event highlighted that the true path forward for women is to emulate Al-Zahra’s life and example in all aspects.
The event included poetry recitals, chants, and a short theatrical sketch.
After the event, the women of Al-Haymah held a rally condemning the ongoing aggression by the Israeli forces against Gaza. Participants in the rally chanted slogans advocating for freedom and steadfastness in supporting the just cause, regardless of the sacrifices involved.
