Hodeidah: The Women's Authority in the Southern Districts Sector of Hodeidah Governorate organized a cultural event in Zabid District to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sayyidah Fatimah al-Zahra, under the slogan: 'Al-Zahra. A Role Model of Our Time on the Path to Victory.'

According to Yemen News Agency, during the event, speakers emphasized that the life of Sayyidah Fatimah al-Zahra represents an example of a faithful and patient woman, embodying purity, dignity, and enduring moral and spiritual values. The speeches highlighted the importance of commemorating this occasion to deepen awareness of the woman's role in advancing societal progress and raising generations on the principles of faith and loyalty to God, His Messenger, and his Household.

Speakers noted that Yemeni women, as they celebrate the birth anniversary of al-Batool, renew their steadfast stance in confronting the forces of arrogance targeting Yemen, its land, and its people. They affirmed that this commemoration comes as an extension of eleven years of resilience and sacrifice in the face of aggression and blockade. Participants praised the steadfastness and sacrifices of Yemeni women, considering this active presence a living embodiment of the level of awareness and faith that drives the Yemeni people in their struggle for liberation and resistance against injustice.

Speakers also addressed the dangers of the 'soft war' targeting children, women, and society, noting that Yemenis, through their awareness, have thwarted schemes aimed at eroding identity, faith, and values as part of the coalition states' efforts to weaken society and tear its social fabric.

Following the event, the Women's Authority organized a protest condemning the genocide carried out by the Zionist occupation against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, and its ongoing violations of Islamic sanctities. Participants raised slogans expressing their outrage at the occupation's crimes, calling for an end to the aggression being committed openly before the eyes of the world. They described the international silence as complicity, and the positions of some Arab governments as a stain on the history of the nation.

The participants called on the free people of the Arab and Islamic world to escalate popular protests and expand solidarity with the Palestinian people, supporting the broad popular campaign aimed at achieving their just demands, foremost among them the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on all its territories with Al-Quds as its capital.
