Al-Jawf Associations Enhance Cooperative Integration with Al-Hodeidah Agricultural Societies

Al-hodeidah: A team from the Al-Marashi and Al-Matoun associations in Al-Jawf governorate carried out a field visit to several agricultural cooperative societies in Al-Hodeidah governorate. The visit aimed to foster cooperative integration and facilitate the exchange of expertise among associations to boost institutional development and enhance agricultural activities.

According to Yemen News Agency, the delegation included key figures such as the Director of the Al-Jawf Agriculture Office, General Directors Mabrouk Al-Khawar of Al-Mutahama Districts, Adnan Al-Qahm of Al-Marashi, and Mohamed Afia of Al-Matoun. Members of the administrative boards of the Al-Marashi and Al-Matoun associations, the Secretary-General of the Agricultural Cooperative Union, and the coordinator of the Bonyan Foundation for the northeastern region also participated.

During the visit, the team explored several cooperative societies, including "Ain Yemen for Export," a company focused on improving plant and animal breeds through specialized projects. Other associations visited were Al-Tahita, Al-Durayhimi, Al-Jarahi, and Zabid. The visit concluded with a tour of the Bajil Cooperative Society, where the team observed prominent agricultural activities, such as the cultivation of soybeans and maize, and learned about the various stages of cultivation and productivity rates.
