Large Crowds of Worshippers Perform Eid al-Fitr Prayers in Sana’a

Sana'a: Large crowds of worshippers in the capital, Sana'a, and other Yemeni governorates performed the Eid al-Fitr prayer this morning and listened to the two sermons. At the Grand Mosque in Sana'a, Acting Prime Minister Muhammad Muftah, Deputy Speaker of Parliament Abdulrahman al-Jama'i, several ministers, members of the House of Representatives and the Shura Council, and military and security leaders performed the Eid al-Fitr prayer with the congregation.

According to Yemen News Agency, the gathering at the Grand Mosque in Sana'a included high-ranking officials, highlighting the significance of the occasion. The event was marked by unity as people from different walks of life came together to observe the prayer, a key ritual in the celebration of Eid al-Fitr.

The presence of government and military officials underscored the importance of the festival in the socio-political landscape of Yemen. The participation of members of the House of Representatives and the Shura Council further emphasized the communal and national spirit of the day.
