Al mahwit: The Women's Authority in Al Mahwit city organized a large public rally on Friday in response to a call by the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, under the slogan 'Friday of Warning and Mobilization,' affirming readiness and declaring general mobilization in confronting what it described as Saudi regime conspiracies.
According to Yemen News Agency, participants raised banners and slogans expressing anger over the actions of the Saudi-led coalition and reaffirmed their steadfast position and readiness to confront what they called schemes targeting Yemen's sovereignty and independence. The rally affirmed full authorization for the leader to take any options, decisions, and measures deemed necessary to protect the country, defend its sovereignty, and maintain Yemen's positions toward Islamic causes and sanctities.
A statement issued by the rally noted that the participation of Al Mahwit women reflects the Yemeni people's commitment to their free choices and readiness to face challenges while rejecting what it described as domination and dependency, continuing the struggle for liberation and independence. The statement added that the Yemeni people affirm their choice of freedom, dignity, and independence, and will not submit to any pressures or challenges targeting their will, sovereignty, or national decision-making.
Participants highlighted Yemen's decision to support the Palestinian people in Gaza, based on what they described as a religious and moral duty, which had led to pressure campaigns including siege and other forms of hardship, stressing continued resistance to such measures. They described the ongoing blockade as a 'full-scale war,' rejecting all forms of injustice and domination and affirming their demand for freedom, independence, and a dignified life.
They also expressed loyalty and appreciation to Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi for his positions in defending Yemen and regional causes, praising his sacrifices and stances in confronting challenges. The statement called on the armed forces to strengthen deterrence capabilities, reaffirming readiness to provide support and sacrifices in defense of Yemen's sovereignty and independence.
Participants reiterated their support for the Palestinian cause, Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the Palestinian people in Gaza, as well as their backing for resistance groups against the Israeli project. They expressed appreciation to Iran and the Iranian people for what they described as humanitarian and fraternal positions, praising efforts to help ease the suffering of the Yemeni people.
The statement concluded by reaffirming continued steadfastness on national and religious principles and ongoing efforts against what it called forces of aggression and arrogance until achieving victory, lifting the blockade, and restoring national rights.
