Hajjah: The late Mohammed Salba’s team achieved an important victory over Al-Ahli with a score of 3-0 in the second round of Group A matches in the Martyrs on the Road to Quds Tournament in Hajjah Governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, this victory allowed the late Mohammed Salba’s team to raise its points tally to four, positioning them strategically for qualification into the next rounds of the tournament. The tournament is organized by Al-Nasr Sports and Cultural Club and is under the supervision of the Youth and Sports Office in the governorate.
The match, led by referee Akram Hamid with assistance from Abdullah Al-Shater and Nabil Al-Buqa, and Khalid Al-Shaghdiri as the fourth official, saw goals from Majid Al-Mukhal, who scored twice, and Mohammed Al-Haks, who added one more to secure the team’s win.
In other developments, the Red Crescent team is set to face the Gaza team in hopes of solidifying its lead in Group C. Meanwhile, in the youth category, the match between Martyr Abu Rakan Al-Jabri and Al-Qassam teams concluded in a goalless draw in Group B.
