Sanaa: Yemen has declared its full solidarity with Iran in response to what it describes as US-Zionist aggression. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Yemen has condemned the actions as treacherous, emphasizing that they represent a severe escalation and a blatant violation of Iran’s sovereignty, a member state of the United Nations.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Ministry’s statement categorizes the aggression against Iran as a clear infringement of the UN Charter and international law, which prohibits the use of force against a nation’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. The statement warns that such actions pose a direct threat to regional and international peace and security, potentially leading to increased tension and instability in the region.
The Ministry attributes the aggression to Iran’s opposition to American dominance, its quest for independence, and its support for Islamic causes, particularly the Palestinian issue. It urges the international community, especially the Security Council, to take responsibility and condemn the aggression while taking steps to halt it.
Furthermore, the Ministry highlights Iran’s role in leading the Islamic nation’s fight against global Zionism, represented by the United States and Israel. It calls on Islamic nations to take clear and firm stances against the aggression, which it views as targeting all.
