Marib: The branch of the Agricultural Cooperative Union in Marib Governorate was officially launched today under the slogan "Cooperative Work is the Foundation of Sustainable Development."
According to Yemen News Agency, the launch ceremony was organized in coordination with development partners, including the Ministries of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources, Social Affairs and Labor, the Agricultural Cooperative Union, Bonyan Development Foundation, the General Mobilization, and the local authority in the governorate.
The Deputy Governor for Development Affairs, Daris Al-Mu'awdhi, highlighted the importance of establishing the union branch to enable it to carry out its duties to the fullest extent. He affirmed his readiness to provide support and assistance to the branch leadership in accomplishing the tasks entrusted to them.
For his part, the Head of the Marketing Department at the Agricultural Cooperative Union, Bakil Tahir, explained that the union leadership pays great attention to the branch to strengthen the developmental role of the union, its branches, and associations across the governorates. He stressed that Marib Governorate receives significant attention from agricultural and developmental leadership, congratulating the new administrative body on assuming leadership of the branch.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Mobilization Officer, Hussein Abunab, expressed readiness to cooperate with the branch leadership in implementing developmental plans, programs, and projects, enhancing the union's role in serving the community and achieving sustainable development.
