Amran: The local authority, the General Mobilization Department, and the branch of the General Authority for the Care of Martyrs’ Families in the Amran Governorate inaugurated the activities of the Annual Martyr Anniversary for the year 1447 AH on Saturday.
According to Yemen News Agency, the inauguration was attended by various officials, including Governor Dr. Faisal Jaman, Shura Council members Yahya Ashish and Abdullah Yusuf, Secretary-General of the Local Council Saleh al-Makhlous, and several deputy governors and military leaders. During the event, speeches emphasized the importance of commemorating the heroism of martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the defense of the land and national sovereignty.
The speakers highlighted the martyrs’ crucial role in resisting Zionist-American aggression against Yemen and in showing solidarity with the people of Gaza. They underscored that the annual commemoration is an opportunity to learn from the martyrs’ sacrifices and to continue on the path of truth, reaffirming a commitment to follow in their footsteps and protect the achievements gained through their sacrifices.
The speeches also stressed the importance of honoring the martyrs by caring for their families and ensuring their welfare, recognizing this as a fundamental way to acknowledge the martyrs’ sacrifices.
