Amran: The Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit and the General Directorate of Community Initiatives, in cooperation with multi-purpose agricultural cooperative associations and the local authority in Amran Province, have launched the distribution of 11,000 bags of cement to support community initiative projects in the governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, during the launch, Engineer Hashem Al-Reidi, the Director of Community Initiatives and representative of the Central Interventions Unit in the province, stated that this support is in implementation of the directives of the Revolution Leader and aligns with the instructions of the President of the Supreme Political Council to bolster community initiative projects.
He highlighted the ongoing commitment to provide support for community initiative projects in various fields such as roads, dams, and water barriers, aiming to achieve sustainable development in remote and needy areas. Al-Reidi emphasized the dedication of the local authority leadership, the interventions unit, and the initiatives department to assist associations in fulfilling their roles to achieve their established goals.
Al-Reidi also noted that the distribution of cement will aid in the execution of priority service and development projects for residents. This includes the opening and maintenance of roads, construction and repair of water tanks, and building of dams, thereby improving services and alleviating citizens' challenges.
