Conclusion of Economic Empowerment Training Course in Hajjah Province

Hajjah: The Social Welfare Division of the Ministry of Defense in Hajjah Province concluded on Thursday a month-long training course in the field of economic empowerment. The course, held at Al-Thawra Technical Institute and funded by the Social Welfare Division, aimed to provide 12 trainees from the families of persons with disabilities and prisoners with skills in sewing and tailoring.

According to Yemen News Agency, at the closing ceremony, Deputy Governor Mohammed Al-Qadhi praised the joint efforts made to equip the families of persons with disabilities and prisoners with livelihood skills, thereby enhancing resilience and steadfastness, particularly under the current circumstances facing the country.

For his part, Captain Al-Hussein Qawarah, Director of the Social Welfare Division Office, stated that sewing machines, fabrics, and sewing tools and supplies were distributed to the trainees, affirming the division's commitment to economically empowering these families.

Meanwhile, Ahmed Al-Duwali, Dean of Al-Thawra Technical Institute, reviewed the programs the trainees received during the training period.
