Launch of Comprehensive Clean-Up Campaign in Sa’ada Ahead of Prophet’s Birthday Anniversary

Sa'ada: Governor Mohammed Awad inaugurated on Wednesday a comprehensive clean-up campaign in preparation for the anniversary of the Prophet's Birthday. During the launch, organized by the Cleaning and Improvement Fund in the governorate and attended by Deputy Governor for Environmental Affairs and Improvement Mohammed al-Baadani, along with a number of local authority and executive office members, the governor praised the campaign, which coincides with activities marking the Prophet's Birthday and the joy of commemorating his blessed birth (peace be upon him and his family).

According to Yemen News Agency, Governor Awad emphasized the importance of continuing clean-up campaigns and community awareness efforts, as well as improving streets to maintain the city's aesthetic appearance in celebration of this great religious occasion. He commended the efforts of the Cleaning and Improvement Fund in implementing these initiatives.

For his part, the Executive Director of the Cleaning and Improvement Fund in the governorate, Najib al-Saadi, explained that the campaign targets Sa'ada city, its surrounding areas, and the main entrances to the governorate, starting from the al-Mahather area and ending in al-Maqash.

He confirmed that the campaign includes removing waste, clearing dust, trimming and pruning trees, and enhancing the overall appearance of the governorate within the available resources as part of commemorating the Prophet's Birthday anniversary.
