Al-mahwit: The Education Sector in Al-Mahwit Governorate today launched curricular, scientific, and cultural competitions for male and female students in basic and secondary education stages in the city's schools, as part of the educational activities program for the academic year 1447 AH / 2025-2026.
According to Yemen News Agency, government and private schools are participating in the competitions, within the framework of efforts aimed at promoting a spirit of positive competition among students, raising the level of academic achievement, developing creative capabilities, and activating extracurricular activities in various fields.
The official of the Education Sector in the city, Salem Al-Shahadi, explained that the competitions are an important opportunity to measure the level of students' academic performance, encourage them to excel and innovate, and discover promising talents in scientific and cultural aspects.
He pointed out that the advanced results achieved by the competing students reflected the seriousness of the educational and administrative staff in providing quality education that contributes to building a generation capable of creativity and bearing responsibility.
