Launch of Diesel and Cement Distribution to Boost Community Initiatives in Marib

Marib: The Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit, in coordination with the local authority in Marib Governorate, has commenced the distribution of 35,797 liters of diesel and 1,655 sacks of cement. This initiative aims to bolster community-led projects in the southern square districts of Marib Governorate.

According to Yemen News Agency, during the launch event, Muhammad Muftah and Ali AlShawina, the directors of Jabal Murad and Harib districts respectively, lauded the efforts of the Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit. They highlighted the significant role these efforts play in encouraging the local community to engage in and execute service-oriented projects across various sectors.

Fahad Thawabah, the official of the Central Emergency Interventions Unit in the governorate, elaborated that this support is part of a broader strategy to enhance community development efforts. The initiative seeks to fulfill the needs of service projects that contribute to improving infrastructure and basic services within the governorate.

He further explained that the distribution specifically targets community initiatives in the districts of AlJawf, Jabal Murad, Harib, Mahliyah, Rahbah, and AlAbdiya.
