Sana'a: The Security and Police Sector at the Ministry of Interior has launched the distribution of 1,839 food baskets to needy families in the Jadr and Al-Hadn neighborhoods of Bani Al-Harith District in the Capital Secretariat.
According to Yemen News Agency, the initiative is part of the National Resilience Program, aimed at strengthening social solidarity during the holy month of Ramadan. It is focused on supporting poor and vulnerable families. Officials highlighted the program's objective to help alleviate the suffering of needy families amid the challenging conditions the country is experiencing. They also urged philanthropists and charitable organizations to expand their humanitarian efforts to support poor families, including the families of martyrs and the wounded.
During the event, officials also conducted an inspection of a charity kitchen in the Jadr neighborhood. This kitchen provides meals to the poorest families with the backing of community members and charitable contributors.
