Sana'a: Leader of the Revolution Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi affirmed Yemen's unwavering religious, principled, and moral commitment to supporting the Palestinian people and safeguarding holy sites, particularly al-Aqsa Mosque. In a speech delivered on International al-Quds Day, al-Houthi underscored the centrality of the Palestinian cause to the Islamic nation.
According to Yemen News Agency, Sayyed al-Houthi emphasized a religious stance against the Zionist enemy and its aggressive strategies targeting the Islamic nation. He reiterated Yemen's support for Iran, viewing aggression against it as an attack on Islam and Muslims. The leader highlighted the continuous Israeli aggression in Palestine, stressing the importance of al-Quds Day as a reminder of the Islamic nation's sacred duty towards the Palestinian cause.
Sayyed al-Houthi elaborated on the Zionist threat, which he claims aims to destroy al-Aqsa Mosque and establish a "Greater Israel" by occupying regional territories. He asserted that this threat targets Islam, Muslims, and Islamic holy sites. The leader called for a renewed focus on resisting the Zionist-Jewish agenda, which he believes is supported by Western powers, particularly the United States.
The leader's speech also addressed the American-Israeli aggression against Iran, describing it as an unjustified attack with the goal of reshaping the Middle East. Sayyed al-Houthi praised Iran's resilience and its effective response to such aggression, citing it as a model for the entire region. He urged the Islamic world to recognize the true ambitions of their adversaries and to adopt a unified stance against them.
Sayyed al-Houthi also criticized the normalization of relations with Israel by some Arab states, considering it a surrender to Zionist dominance. He emphasized the need for a correct understanding of the conflict and urged a return to the teachings of the Holy Quran as a guide for confronting the Zionist threat. The leader concluded by calling on the people of Yemen to demonstrate their support for the Palestinian cause through a massive turnout on International Quds Day.
