Hajjah: A large meeting was held in the Hajjah Governorate center to strengthen resilience and steadfastness, continue mobilization efforts, and pursue development and jihad in the path of Allah.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting included key figures such as Deputy Governor Ahmed Al-Akhfash, Provincial Security Director Brigadier General Hassan Al-Qasimi, directors of the city's districts, mobilization officials, tribal leaders, and community figures. The gathering emphasized the importance of continuing training and development, acquiring combat skills, and military arts in preparation for direct confrontation with the American-Zionist enemy.
The timing of the meeting coincided with the commemoration of the martyrdom of Imam Ali (peace be upon him), serving as an opportunity to reaffirm adherence to the Prophetic path. Participants were urged to emulate the Imam and demonstrate sincere allegiance to him, the Prophet's family, and the guiding lights of Islam. Undersecretary Al-Akhfash, the Director of Security, and Colonel Adnan Qawara, Assistant Commander of the Fifth Military Region for Development Affairs, highlighted the need to recognize their responsibility and utilize the nights of Ramadan to strengthen the spirit of brotherhood, unify ranks, and fortify the home front.
The meeting also focused on the importance of mobilizing for marches against the Zionist-American enemy and organizing cultural and awareness-raising seminars to highlight the dangers of aggression. There was a strong emphasis on community awareness about the national initiative to plant date palm seeds, expand palm cultivation, and boost local date production, as well as joining agricultural associations to enhance the agricultural sector and achieve self-sufficiency.
Al-Akhfash, Al-Qasimi, and Qawarah stressed the importance of preparing and mobilizing for summer programs to encourage children and youth participation, thereby acquiring beneficial knowledge, strengthening faith, and protecting against misguided ideologies. They also urged concerted efforts in implementing charitable projects and community initiatives, contributing to building and development processes.
The meeting concluded with a call for a strong turnout at the International Quds Day march, aiming to convey a message of solidarity with the Palestinian cause and support for allies in Iran and Lebanon.
