Hodeidah: The Geological Survey and Mineral Resources Authority has launched an electronic collection system at the salt mines in Al-Salif District, Hodeidah Governorate. This initiative is part of the Authority's efforts to modernize its financial collection system and transition to digital mechanisms that enhance revenue management efficiency and strengthen oversight and transparency.
According to Yemen News Agency, the launch ceremony was attended by the Vice Chairman of the Authority's Board of Directors, Bakil Rasam, along with a number of specialists and salt mine workers. The new system is expected to facilitate a more streamlined process in financial transactions related to the salt mining operations, contributing to improved operational oversight.
