Sana'a: The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning has forecast continued thundery rainfall across various governorates over the next 24 hours.
According to Yemen News Agency, the center's weather bulletin indicated that thundery rainfall of varying intensity, sometimes accompanied by downdraft winds and hail, is expected in parts of the governorates of Saada, Hajjah, Al-Mahwit, Amran, Sana'a, Raymah, Dhamar, Al-Bayda, Al-Dhalea, Ibb, Taiz, and Lahj, as well as sections of the Tihama Plain.
Scattered rainfall is also likely over parts of the highlands and plateaus of Al-Bayda, Abyan, Shabwah, Hadramout, and Al-Mahrah, along with portions of the western coast.
The center has issued warnings for citizens to avoid ravines, valleys, and flood channels during and after rainfall and advised drivers against crossing ground-level bridges during floods.
It further cautioned about potential thunderstorms and reduced horizontal visibility due to rainfall and fog formation on roads and mountain slopes, urging relevant authorities to take necessary precautions to safeguard lives and property.
